Bamboo Hideaway

Located on the beautiful island of Koh Mak, Bamboo Hideaway is a small boutique style resort built in an aging rubber tree plantation using natural materials. This Thai/New Zealand venture has endeavoured to capture a feeling of peace and tranquility. Eight bungalows, elevated and accessible by a walkway from the restaurant, weave its way through the trees to accommodation that have been designed to give you all the luxuries of a more traditional resort but with the advantage that only natural materials can give.

Spacious and creatively thought-out each bungalow offer ocean views of the neighbour island of Koh Kood. All the bungalows have air conditioning, hot water and toilet facilities. The resort offers wireless internet and satellite TV. Situated off the beaten track you are surrounded by green trees and cooled by a gentle sea breeze. The restaurant offers tradition Thai cuisine as well as a selection of western food and prides itself on its quality produce and its helpful service. The décor has been designed to give a feeling of relaxed dining in an art like setting.
